Softball registration is now open for the 2026 recreation season. Keep up to date with organization registration through our email blasts and Facebook posts.

Season

• The season typically starts towards the end of March, beginning of April (depending on weather) with practices. Games are scheduled typically around the 2nd week in April and go through the middle of May. 
• 8u can expect to practice 1-2 times per week until games start. From there, you can expect 1 game and 1 practice per week.
• 10u and 12u can expect 2 practices per week until games start. From there, you can expect 2 games and 1 practice per week. 

Game Nights

• 8u: Tuesday & Thursday with occasional Friday or Saturday.
• 10u: Monday & Wednesday with occasional Friday or Saturday.
• 12u: Monday & Wednesday with occasional Friday or Saturday.

Game Locations

• As the sport continue to grow, there may be additional locations added. Below is the list of current locations for games:
• Belgrade, Bozeman, Manhattan, Three Forks, Livingston, Ennis.

Coaching

• If interested in coaching, please contact the Softball Chair listed below. If you are a parent/guardian who is interested in coaching, you will be able to complete a section of registration to volunteer!

Umping

• We are looking for umpires for week night games and occasional Saturdays. Umpires arrive at 6pm, plate meeting at 6:25 and games start at 6:30pm. For more information, contact the Softball Chair listed below.

The Livingston Legacy 10U softball team gives young athletes the opportunity to extend their season, sharpen their skills, and deepen their love for the game. Designed for girls who are eager to grow and challenge themselves, Legacy players compete against top teams from across Montana. Our season typically includes 3–4 tournaments throughout the summer, culminating in the State Tournament in mid-July. It’s a chance to build teamwork, experience higher-level play, and make lasting memories both on and off the field.
